A Nation Deceived has had a strong national impact since its release in 2004. One of the outcomes of the report has been the establishment of the Institute for Research and Policy on Acceleration (IRPA) funded by the John Templeton Foundation. IRPA is part of the Belin-Blank Center at The University of Iowa, and its mission is to provide research and information on acceleration. For more information on IRPA please visit the website at www.accelerationinstitute.org.

We encourage you to learn all you can about acceleration and how this highly effective intervention can be used to program for your gifted students.
